This Privacy Policy explains how we look after your personal information when you contact or use the AAN Telephone Support Service or AAN’s peer support network.
This policy applies to people living with amyloidosis, carers, family members, supporters, and anyone who contacts our telephone support service or peer support..
The Australian Amyloidosis Network Ltd (AAN) is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information when you use our support services and engage with peer support.
We do not provide your information to third parties. We never rent, sell, lend or give away your information.

AAN’s telephone support sessions are confidential See section 7 for disclosure information.
Peer support is a group activity and information is shared freely among the group participants during sessions.

If you seek assistance to become a member of AAN or wish to make a donation we may provide your contact details to the appropriate AAN officer.
