The ups and downs, ins and outs, and all things Amyloidosis.

I’m excited to invite you to a relaxed and supportive space where patients and carers can come together to share their unique Amyloidosis journeys. Whether you’re from the bustling city, a rural town, or a remote corner of our beautiful Australian landscape, everyone is welcome here.

This group is for everyone – all ages, ethnicities, religious backgrounds, colours, races, sexual preferences, and identities. No matter where you’re at in your journey, whether you’re feeling well or facing challenges, this is a safe and caring space for informal conversations.

As a member of the AAN board, I’ll also be listening carefully to your feedback and insights. Together, we can gather valuable ideas about ways to improve the lives of Amyloidosis patients across the country.

This is the structure I envision initially, offering a welcoming and casual space for sharing and support. As we go along, if there’s interest, we could look at extending our time by half an hour and inviting guest speakers every three months to share insights and expertise. This way, we can enjoy our time together, learn more, and deepen our understanding of Amyloidosis as a community.
We’ll be meeting over zoom on the first Monday of every month. So grab a cuppa, and join us for a warm chat among friends.
