Dr. Melissa Hershman is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at Oregon Health & Science University. Building upon her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, she received medical training through the St. George’s University Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars Program. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, and Gastroenterology fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel/Morningside/West, in New York, N.Y., where she served as chief fellow. She is a general gastroenterologist and the OHSU Gastroenterology Fellowship Program Director.
