The next meeting of the PBAC will be in July  2026. At this meeting  committee will be  considering a  request from Medison Pharma Australia Pty limited to list  Vutrisiran for the treatment of adult patients with wild-type or hereditary ATTR-CM  who have documented evidence of the transthyretin precursor protein present who have experienced at least one episode of hospitalisation that was a direct result of heart failure or have clinical evidence of heart failure without hospitalisation that required treatment with a diuretic for improvement.

THE PBAC  is inviting patients, carers and families and  those working with patients with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-cm)  to submit comments by MAY 20.

The AAN would encourage patients and families living with ATTR-CM to take up this invitation,
