The Australian Amyloidosis Network’s Education Meeting for Patients and Families

The AAN invites patients and families to join a virtual education meeting. Two of the AAN doctors will reflect on interesting papers presented at the recent virtual International Symposium on Amyloidosis, conducted from September 14th to the 18th. Over 1000 people registered for this meeting.
Speakers: Dr Fiona Kwok, Director of the Amyloidosis Centre, Westmead Hospital, Sydney.
Dr Simon Gibbs, Director of the Victorian and Tasmanian Amyloidosis Service.

The International Symposium on Amyloidosis is an initiative of the International Society of Amyloidosis (ISA) , a non-profit organisation. The members are made up from Scientists and Physicians engaged in research, teaching, or practice in connection with amyloid and amyloidosis. The aims of this ISA is to promote research, education, clinical studies (including diagnosis and treatment), conferences and symposia on all aspects of amyloidosis worldwide.
