Congratulations to our Pat Neely, newly appointed Member of the Order of Australia for her services for the amyloidosis community.
The AAN proudly congratulates Pat Neely, a founding member and recently retired Board member the AAN who has been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM).
Pat has tirelessly devoted her life to bettering the lives of people living with amyloidosis for over 2 decades. Pat has worked in an official and leading capacity in many areas of the health sector and always with the focus of improving the health care system for those with amyloidosis. Pat’s list of achievements speak for themselves but more than this, she has also been a trusted and dedicated counsellor, friend and support for innumerable patients, families and carers across Australia. Pats advocacy has brought about meaningful systemic change and her devotion to her patients has supported them through their toughest times.
The AAN is proud to be a part of Pat’s legacy and our organisation would not be here today without her drive and leadership.
Congratulations for your well deserved Order of Australia Pat.
